Q: Can i apply for loan on allotted land but not in possession
i am alloted to one house by odisha housing board,loan against is going on but it is not handed over to me till now.Can it will be counted as i have a house by my name still it is not handed over to me.I am putting this question because i want to get subsidy on pmay scheme loan if i dont have any house by my name.If i will apply for loan under pmay scheme,can it be approved as ,one rule is there to be affidavit that i have to write undertaking that i dont have house.

Dear sir,First of all you check all process of handing over house matter as what are the difficulties regarding transfer of possession.If its clear then there is no wrong if the sanctioning authority has no objection. however it is always better to apply for loan after possession. because unless and until you will not get possession your ownership is not absolute.
