Section 21 of U.P. Revenue Code - Obligation regarding maintenance and repair of boundary marks

Description

(1) Every tenure-holder shall be responsible to maintain and repair at his cost the boundary marks lawfully erected in his holding or on the boundary thereof.
(2) The [Gram Panchayat] shall be responsible to maintain and repair as its cost the boundary marks, other than those mentioned in sub-section (1), lawfully erected in the villages situate within its jurisdiction.
