Filed for Mutual Divorce but now husband wants to back out

Hi I am Hindu. My husband filed fro divorce but now he has changed his mind and he wants to withdraw the petition. But before that he wants mediation session? Does he really wants to reconcile or he is just misleading the court?
We can't read the mind of people its you can know your husband's mind very well. Mediation is the part of mutual consent divorce since after filing case 6 month time is given for reconciliation and mediation.
