My wife filled 498a case on 11/12/2021 against me and my family members. 8/9/2023 IO filled chargesheet he show my family members are absconding. My brother in law was police constable his name also show absconding list. Is it valied are is it possible to quash?

In the case of FIR, the accused can utilise the provision and seek relief from the High Court under section 482 of CrPC. For the quashing of FIR, the court will appreciate the facts of the case and if it finds that the injustice took place against the accused.

Can wife can claim maintenance from husband if staying together as mother in law is taking complete money from husband and not providing proper care and they are not giving money for basic needs and they filled restitution of conjugal rights case . when I went to husband house they are not allowing me to enter house .

Maintenance to Muslim WifeUnder Muslim law, the wife's right to be maintained by her husband is absolute. ... Arrears of maintenance cannot be claimed by any relative other than a wife. In civil defamation a person who is defamed can move either High Court or subordinate courts and seek damages in the form of monetary compensation. There is no punishment in the form of jail sentence.Under criminal jurisprudence, the offence is compoundable. If the victim and the Accused settle their disputes out of the Court, the Court drops the case after recording their statement to that effect. Section-499.
