I was lured into marriage, given false promises of marriage, and intimate with me, and now suddenly I am ignored by the person, refusing to talk to me, my boyfriend told that his family is rejecting me because of my caste.

Giving a False Promise of Marriage to get intimate or have a sexual relationship with a girl or a women amounts to the committal of Rape which is a Punishable Offence and the said offence stands for life imprisonment. If there has been an occurrence of such an act then the victim as soon as possible must report the incident to the local police station and register a FIR against that person.

Q: Applicability of BNS / IPC for crime committed both before and after i

Various crime were committed by accused against me & my brother between 1ST OCT 2019 TO JAN 2025. The crimes are of alleged forgery, cheating, misappropriation, threatening in relation to a property. As on 1st July 2024 BNS was introduced. Now in my case crimes were committed by accused during both times that is before 1st July 2024 and after that. That is both Before and After of introduction of BNS ?Now in January 2025 I want to file and FIR should I be filing as per IPC or BNS ? Or both ?

If the incidence with you and the Accused has happened recently then the FIR will be registered under BNS and if the incidents are related to past incidents then the FIR will be registered under IPC. As of Now if the incidence with you and the Accused has occurred recently in January 2025 then on the basis of the current events with you and the Accused will be registered under BNS.

It Depends on...whether your Assets and Liabilities is on record before the Hon'ble Court and still if the Hon'ble Court has allowed maintenance in favour of the wife without considering the income of the husband....then there is a chance to go for the Appeal.

If your sister-in-law is also mentally harassing your brother too along with you and your parents....you might please consult your brother for divorce or file a written complaint to the local police station for a warning, and primarily under what circumstances is your sister-in-law blackmailing or harassing you and your parents must be relevant with her actions.

YES....The FIR filed by your friend on behalf of you is Valid. But the FIR should be registered on the same day of the accident. And the Section 125 of BNS is accurate in fact more strict than section for rash driving.
