Samir Kumar Das, Advocate joined in the Bar Council of West Bengal 27 Feb 1981 and started practicing in the Sub-divisional Court at Serampore, Hooghly, West Bengal. Q: Prevent property selling beside our house

Can I prevent my neighbour from selling the land that is just beside our residence ( my house). I have said that I will buy the land but he is asking a very big amount. I have offered him that I will pay the exact amount that everybody has paid who have bought land in the nearby places but he is not agreeing.
