Q: Cheque bounce Jurisdiction area ................,.....................

My Name is Yograj. I stay in Himachal Pradesh. I have a bank account with home branch Bangalore.I am issued a cheque by a Bangalore based firm, which bounced (their account is also in Bangalore).Bounce memo is from Himachal Pradesh local city, as I presented the cheque here to clearance.After expiry of demand notice period, when I file a case, what will be Jurisdiction area? Himachal city where I presented the cheque or my bank home branch Bangalore.Thanks

the complaint can be filed under Section 138 for dishonor of cheque at a court within whose local jurisdiction:-The branch of the bank is locatedThe payee or the holder maintains an account so you can file the case under sec138 within the period of 45 days of presentation of the cheque including notice period to the court having territorial judiction where the branch of the bank exit .2.where the payee had his account and where you are maintaining you accounts

Q: addition of abbrevation name in my land records

Due to some mistake of my name(Jamboo in my son acedmics certificate in 10,12 graduation, PG ...i need to addition of my abbrevation name which is J.D.Dogra in my land records.so kindly help me to know that is it possible (.example - Jamboo urf J.D.Dogra ) in my land records...i can pay any amount bt jst tell me some solution .

yes you can change your name by filling the suit for declaration in civil court praying for a decree declaring that both jamboo and JD DOgra belongs to the same person for this you have to file the said suit against general public and also against the concerned issuing authority which issued the certificate for name correction .
