Q: Uncontested [dismissed for difolt]

My question is i am a defender my case is alrady dismissed for difolt which means am i free or not. I was sifted to other place that is why I don't have any idea of this case when I was remembering of my case which is dismissed

In cheque dishonour matters (under Section 138 NI Act), if the complaint was dismissed for default, it usually means the complainant did not appear and the court closed the case due to non-prosecution. The effect is:If dismissed under Section 256 CrPC → you are generally treated as acquitted.However, the complainant may still file a restoration application or fresh complaint (subject to limitation and court’s discretion).

Q: Sister and girlfriend of my ex is threatening me!

There was a boy whom i used to date in the past..he was in a bad financial state, his father was also suffering from some health issue at that time and things got over in a bad note and he indulged in bad habits. Before things got over, he took some money from me due to some financial difficulties and promised me to return me in sometime! Now after 3+ yrs today his sister called me to return back my money and she sent me, but she and his gf started to threaten me over call & whatsapp what to do?

1. Collect all the screenshots and call recordings or mails which portray their wrongful conduct. 2. Make a written complaint with clear timelines of incidents and be very specific about it. 3. Approach your local police station and hand over the complaint to them. They will give you an acknowledgement by signing on the Xerox of the complaint. 4. Take a picture of that complaint (Xerox) which was provided by the police and share it with those people. They might not trouble you anymore!
