जब पत्रावली पर वादी साक्ष्य समाप्त हो जाता हैं तब मुलजिम का 313 सी अर पी सी का बयान होता है यह बहुत महत्वपूर्ण होता हैं और इसके बाद पत्रवली 437 आ व बहस हेतु चली जाती हैं 313 का बयान पत्रावली का अवलोकन कर आने के बाद ही कराना चाहिए यदि कोई साक्ष्य मुख्य 60 से देना चाहता है तो 313 में आपको बताना पड़ता है कि मैं अपने बचाव पक्ष का साक्षी देना चाहता हूं और अधिवक्ता की देखरेख में कुर्ते करना चाहिए इसको व्यक्तिगत तौर पर यह आपको जानकारी ना हो तो ना करें प्रवक्ता की सलाह अवश्य लें

यदि किसी व्यक्ति पर चार-पांच धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज है तो उन धाराओं में सजा चल रहे मुकदमा के उपरांत यदि न्यायधीश इस नतीजे पर पहुंचता है कि सारी धाराओं की सजा एक साथ मूर्ति जाएगी 245 धाराओं की सजा एक साथ हो जाएगी और यदि न्यायधीश लिखित और ऑर्डर करता है कि एक सजा समाप्त होने के उपरांत दूसरी धारा की सजा प्रारंभ होगी ऐसी स्थिति में सारी धाराओं की सजा अलग-अलग भुगतनी होगी जो सजा का बिंदु होता है उस पर न्यायाधीश विस्तृत आर्डर लिखित पारित करता है उसी आधार पर सजा भुगत की होती है यह पहले निश्चित नहीं किया जा सकता है की सजा एक साथ रहेगी कि अलग-अलग रहेगी यह न्यायधीश जब ऑर्डर करता है उसी ऑर्डर में इस चीज को खोल देता है
