Q: What to do if someone stole my laptop from the repair shop

Hello, I had some issue with my laptop so I gave it to a laptop repair store... Which the store he doesn't own but works there in partnership and pays rent.Even the owner runs a lottery there.. So they keep their store open whenever they go for lunch or anywhere they go,by keeping the store in the hands of a Tailor and a Paan vala beside their store ... Unfortunately my laptop got stolen from the store.. So who is responsible for paying the price of my laptop. FIR has been registered by the guy who was supposed to be repairing my laptop.Police says now u cant blame the repair guy as FIR has been registered nor u can ask for money from him.. Please find me a solution for it. I am in a state where I feel guilty of giving that guy my laptop and because of his carelessness I lost my Laptop..

Sir, when you had given your laptop to repair store. You would have been given a job card against your laptop. And the repair store is liable to compensate you, as the theft took place from the repair store and on his watch. Sir, if you require any further help, i would be happy to help you in person

Q: Procedure to file a case claiming maintenance from husband

I m a married women since last 8months after 6months of marriage my husband want to divorce me and I denied so now he is not allowing me to stay in his house. Now I want to file CrPC and ask for maintenance my lawyer said his fees is 25k and every month I get maintenance out of which he will get 1k or 2k. Is it the way lawyer charges or he is taking advantage of my problems???

Ma'm, there are many options available for you.Firstly, you can file for Restitution of Conjugal rights in respect of living with your husband in mean time you can file maintenance in this matter.Secondly, you can file maintenance under CrPC for your monthly expenses as you are living seperate as your is not allowing you to live at his house.You can get a reasonable amount of maintenance from your husband which the Honble Court feels fit for that you should hire a good Lawyer.

Q: Divorce from an abusive husband

We are not compatible. He is very abusive and keeps harassing me for dowry and arrangements made during the wedding. I can't tolerate him anymore. What can I do? I am Hindu.

Ma'm, there are many options available for you. Ma'm, as your husband is very abusive, harassing you for dowry you can file domestic violence against him. You can even seek for divorce as you can't tolerate him anymore and in mean time you can file for maintenance and other relief.

Q: Wants to remove consumer complaint posted online

My ex she had posted negative things about me on condumercomplaints.in Now we have closed our matter.. Now i want to delete that post but consumercomplaitns online consumer complaint site is not ready to delete.they need court order to delete that post this They have replied to cyber crime cell. What can i do to take court order? In india are we really getting this kind of court order to delete online consumer post?
