You have not specified in which court you have applied for bail ie. Spl court or High court. I have been dealing cases in Pocso and if it is aggravated offence it will be close to 50 days. anything lesser offence it will be 30 to 40 days. For better clarity pls call my number

Q: My Cheque got bounced and she got return memo with exceeds arrangemen
Hi respected lawyers, I gave cheque for a person from whom I got money. As I didn't repay my debt to her, she deposited the cheque and she sent legal notice in which they mentioned as exceeds arrangement. For this really she can send summon or she can make case under 138 act ? My call recordings and what's app chat are there with her. Will she able to file case against me if I'm not repaying within 15 days. And I changed my house address. So that if she send summon, I won't receive it. What she can do further?
Advocate Mukundkumar V R answered
The holder of the cheque will definitely file the 138 case. since you have changed the residence it is all the more easy for the holder of the cheque to proceed exparte. You must immediately send your current address for communication
Q: Cheque has been given as security before land purchase
I purchased a land for amount 20L with area mentioned as 1230sq.ft in original land document whereas in government patta the area is mentioned as 1170sq.ft, a mismatch of 70sq.ft. Before land registration, I asked the (then) land owner about this, they told us whatever mentioned in land document is correct and numbers in patta might be wrong. I was unable to confirm this before registration, so during registration I gave 19L cash and cheque for 1L with future date(as security deposit, we had oral conversation stating that if this 70sq.ft is confirmed, I'll give 1L cash and they need to return my cheque). After few days with help of land surveyor, I can able to confirm that this land has only 1170sq.ft which is mentioned in patta. After 2months of land registration, the then(old) land owners demanding those 1L and it looks like they're threatening us, having my cheque in hand.I've cancelled that cheque 1month before with help of bank. Need your suggestions, to proceed legally.

Your first priority is to shoot a legal notice stating the above facts and ask him to return the cheque. The notice must be a detailed notice stating all the facts.Your first priority is to shoot a legal notice stating the above facts and ask him to return the cheque.
