Q: Claim for damage due to ceiling collapsed bcoz of water tank leakage

Water tank leakage in my society; my flat is below the tank. Despite sending several letters to the society's committee members, they didn't repair it for 2 years and eventually, my ceiling collapsed. Please guide me on where to file a case and recommend a good lawyer

Q: Co- Operative Housing Society Matter

Chairman is harassing everyone. Ex. When he was going to his native place for one month, he removed society watchman.. didnt appoint any other watchman...election conducted illegally, society meeting not happening, secretary not responding

in this situation you should ideally file a written complaint before the register of cooperative society of your ward and inform them about all the irregularities and violations of laws that are happening in your society which are against the provisions of the Cooperative Society Act and file written complaint along with all possible documentary evidence that you have and it is highly recommended that you seek appropriate legal help through qualified advocate in order to assist you to compile all the relevant documents and to draft a proper legal notice and file the complaint before the registrar of cooperative society.

Q: Deficency in service of Digital TV Service

I have subscription of Digital TV service. There is frequent diconnection of TV. The company WIFi technician confirmed the problem was with the set top box. I have called up customer care of the service provider for 6 days. Each day they assured me that technician will visit next day and change the set top box. Till date nothing has been done. What legal action can I take? Can I take them to consumer court or atleast serve a legal notice to them?

You can certainly initiate legal action against the service provider before the consumer forum. Make sure you collect all relevant documentary evidence to establish deficiency of service against the service provider

Q: Ola s1 pro - scooter not repaired since last 6 months

I own an Ola S1 Pro Gen1 (delivered Mar/Apr 2022; extended warranty). It broke down and has been at Ola Service Center Virar since 20-Sep-2025. They diagnosed Battery/BMS but kept saying parts aren’t available; center shut for long periods, staff changed, and tickets were closed. On 02-Feb-2026 Ola opened a job card via OTP but it wrongly shows motor issue; repair still hasn’t started, scooter is kept open with parts missing. need help filing a consumer case.

you can file a consumer case against the manufacturer and service centre before the consumer forum for obtaining suitable reliefs You should take strong legal action on an urgent basis as waiting may cause substantial loss of time

Q: sale torn saree and neither replacing it nor paying back tge money

Hi,My sister purchased one saree in exition. At home she found saree was torn at few places. She contacted to the lady who sold it. She said she will refund the money. But she has not paid the money since last 4 days . Should we complaint to police against that lady ? Pleae help

If you have valid bill and whats app communication including relevant chats, photos and videos then based on such material you can file a consumer complaint. In such cases approching Consumer Forums is better than pursuing criminal complaint. However, you can do both also. if you wish to do so. For more details you can contact me.
