My marriage was 8 year old from which he was doing job only for 2 years now he ran away and left me and my son alone at my parents place and didn't talk or ask anything about his child .and he is also jobless may be become begger or something and by profession he is chemical engineer but didn't want to do any think he need some mental rehab toonPlease tell. My friend borrowed money from me and never returned it. I tried every possible option to get it back without fight. But, all efforts were in vain. It's almost one and half year since I am following up with him. Can I register a Police complaint now? Do Police have a right to decline it since it's such an old problem?

usually police can refuse same matters but don't worry you can file an application in the court for it then magistrate can order to police to lodge FIR for the same. you can claim according to Indian penal code section 422.

She reported this to the police before and fir was lodged, police contacted the husband and he reassured that he won\'t do it again. But he did. Police didn\'t write another report, just kept scolding him. Now he doesn\'t fear the law and my maid is scared. What to do?

we have filed case in metropolitan magistrate u/s 107, 109, 120A, 120B, 405, 406, 415, 417, 418, 420 on 10-03-2022. First 8 date we have to wait for order. Than magistrate changed and new magistrate gave four dates for argument. now i want to now what is the time limit in above case.
