If a party X whom bill is being issued,provides the cheque from company Y as a full consideration for the payment due from Y,and the cheques bounces,what is the legal recourse available to me against the party and does section 138 of negotiable instruments act applicable?

Yes, any representative of the company can present libel. Section 138 n.i. under actFirst of send a notice to opposite party for 15 days.After that the libel can be presented in the court. After this, the court will send summons to the accused after the cognizence.
