Q: How to refund registration fees / stamp duty ?

I have purchased a plot of land for around 1 crore and paid the required registration fees/stamp duty. But due to a medical emergency we have decided not to purchase the plot of land, can registration fee be refunded ? What is the registration cancellation procedure and how much fine/penalty that needs to be paid in order to settle the matter P.S. the Seller is ready to comply hence no problem from his end

it is a online process but long process. you have to apply online in state government registration website. after doing that you have to deposit the papers to local registration office. after a long time you will be called for deposit the cancel cheque. and finally you will get refund to your account.

I was in a relationship with a man for nearly 3 years our families had initiated talks of getting married. All of a sudden he broke off ties with me and is refusing to talk or answer any messages. This is causing severe mental trauma for me. Is there anything I can do legally?

No, You can not do anything legally, because mearly upon broken relationship you can not do anything. if he done any promise to marry you by keeping physical relationship then it is possible to punish him by proving the in court.

Q: Apartment Property Transfer as a gift

Respected Sir,I have a Flat in my name and EMI is ongoing. I want transfer my flat in my mother’s name as a gift and I want to continue paying EMI.Could you please let me know how to proceed?

You will not able to transfer the flat to your mother's name because this flat is mortgaged by financial institution. you can transfer it after clear all outstanding dues to that financial institution.

Q: Property claim for grand children

My hindu maternal grand father died way back in 1946 leaving behind self attained properties in Kolkata and without any will. He was survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters. One of the daughters, my mother, also died in 2008. Can we claim our mother's right of share in my maternal grandfather's property.

yes you can claim the maternal grandfather's property according to hindu law when he had not done any will or gift deed. According to honest law daughter can claim the share of property after death of her father. and in absence of his daughter, her legal heir can claim that property.

Sir, I am married to a girl who is a gov't office clerk. Myself is a primary teacher. I have my own house and a land. Both are in the name of my mother after my father's death. My question is can my wife claim my house and land after my mother's death. She gives me threatening always to give me divorce. Can I transfer my home and my land into my name? I don't want to give her anything .

hello actually it is your mother's property and after the date of your mother according to Hindu Succession act you will inherit the property and it cannot be transferred to your wife's name after death of your mother.
