My Brother in Law (BIL) have a society flat in Delhi which is freehold & registered with sub registrar office. Can he gift this to me? What are the tax implications? Your brother in law cannot transfer the property by way of a gift. As a gift can be done in blood relations only. You need to purchase the property by way of Sale Deed or he can transfer the same through a WILL.

Q: What happens if wife has online Dr consultation after physical abuse

What happens if wife has only online doctor consultation (medical) like practo.com after physical abuse by husband and her father and brother are witnesses. Husband never allowed her to step out after physical fights and with two minor sons (1 and 7 years old) she couldn't to see a doctor. What happens in DV and 498A .is it insufficient to prove cruelty, physical abuse.

This is a civil case and police will not help in such cases. You need to file a Permanent Injunction suit before the competent court to remove the gate or to give keys to such a gate to access the terrace. Or you can initially send them a legal notice.

marriage registered in both India & foreign. “Uncontested” divorce on grounds of “irreconcilable differences”. Signed settlement agreement says they submit to foreign jurisdiction & decree will dissolve Indian marriage too. Divorce decree granted by foreign court. Now one wants an Indian court’s declaration, certificate or decree, after many years. Can he get one? Do they have to file financial disclosures at all, and if so, even for all years after foreign-divorce? What’s the procedure?

Foreign decree is applicable in India as well. Still you want to file a Mutual Divorce Petition then you have to show your residence proof in India and then you can file a petition before the competent court of law. Further you have to prepare the separate settlement Agreement for this.
