Q: FALCON DEFRAUDED THOUSANDS IN THE NAME OF INVOICE DISCOUNTING
Fraud via ICICI cards (₹23L) in Falcon scam. Earlier RBI Ombudsman case closed without merits solely because claim exceeded ₹20L limit. Order explicitly allowed fresh filing with revised limits. Limits are now enhanced. Meanwhile, a consumer case was dismissed on 14.08.2026 (order copy awaited). Can I file a fresh Ombudsman complaint on new grounds of systemic KYC/KYB & transaction monitoring failures by ICICI, or does the consumer dismissal bar it via res judicata? How to beat limitation?

If the RBI Ombudsman has already dismissed your complaint without merits, it generally does not create res judicata because it was not adjudicated on facts or law. Consumer court dismissal for want of cause of action also may not strictly bar a fresh complaint if you can show new grounds of systemic KYC/KYB and transaction monitoring failure by ICICI.Regarding limitation, the Consumer Protection Act allows filing within 2 years from the date of cause of action; you must show that the new complaint is either within this period or justify condonation for delay. Fresh filing is possible if you bring substantially revised facts and evidence, but success depends on proving a distinct cause of action and overcoming limitation issues.
Q: College not returning certificate
I have a madras high court order stating that the college should return my documents to me. But when I gave them the order they refused to obey and told me they have to discuss with the authorities. But I have an admission coming up next month which requires this documents. What should I do

Q: MY CCTV CAMERA BROKEN BY NEIGHBOUR
I had installed two CCTV cameras behind my house for our safety. In a dispute with family residing behind my house, a lady broken those cameras on 29.07.2026. I had filed a police somplinat regarding this, but still no any action taken by police. what can I do, I need recovery for that damage and criminal action too on that lady. The broking footage is recorded with me. kindly guide me.

Q: Marriage registration in 2 different states in India
My husband and I registered our marriage in Tamil Nadu in 2018. The divorce case filed by my husband in 2022 got dismissed by default in 2023. Now I want to know whether my husband register second marriage in a different state without getting divorce. Asking this as the marriage registration is State Department only and not centralized. Pls clarify

Yes. Even though marriage registration is administered by State authorities and there is no single nationwide marriage-registration database, your husband cannot legally contract a second marriage in another State without first obtaining a valid divorce decree. If your 2018 marriage is a valid Hindu marriage, and his divorce petition filed in 2022 was merely dismissed for default in 2023, the marriage continues to subsist. A second marriage during its subsistence would be void under the Hindu Marriage Act and may attract the offence of bigamy under the applicable criminal law. The fact that another State’s registration system may not detect the Tamil Nadu marriage does not make the second marriage legally valid.
