My grandfather had two brothers. His younger brother has kept all the land papers with himself after committing fraud in the land share of my grandfather. When we ask for the papers of my grandfather's share of land, we are told that grandfather has sold the land. If he has sold it, then he does not even show the deed. I am sure that he is being dishonest. I want to get the papers of my grandfather's share of land verified in the court so that I can know the truth.

you can also get your ancestral property paper by only knowing the khata number and mauja. after doing meeting with your uncle and make agree then for private partition. if they don't agree then take help of court.

Q: Illegal paternal property occupation and construction

Respected Advocates,My parents are senior citizens and after retirement wanted to settle on paternal home.but father's two younger brothers vehemently opposing our settling their, not allowing any renovation or construction. Despite being undivided property, they have constructed rooms without our consent.They are immensely torturing my parents where verbal abuse & physical threat is normal. My mother is of heart patient & vulnerable to this violent situation.kindly help us to get justice.

first of all you have to complain in the police station for physical abuse and then get paper of ancestral property and sale deed whatever. then come at the seat in Kachahri and know how much land you will get . if no one agrees for a private partition then take help of the court .
