Q: Consumer court claim amount for e-commerce refund denial case

I paid Rs 1340 via UPI on an e-commerce site. Cancelled immediately. They committed refund by Nov 2025 in writing on their platform. Never refunded. Ignored my calls, emails, NCH grievance (disposed), and legal notice. Now filing in District Consumer Commission. What is the appropriate minimum and maximum compensation I can demand beyond the refund amount?

There is no minimum order maximum limit as such and you may claim reasonable compensation basis the mental harassment and agony faced as well as legal costs and interest apart from basic amount. Q: Do District Court Decree Stops If We Go To High Court ?

Hi! There is a case in district court delhi and the judge has passed a decree where he has divided property in 5 equal shares. However, my bhua ( aunty ) got her share from another property when my grandfather was alive. My grandfather passed away without a will. Now the question is ..... Judge has passed a decree to divide property in 5 shares. Can we go to Delhi high court? After judge has passed a final decree and POA will be done within a few days.

You may withdraw your Vakalatnama from your current counsel or instruct him to state before court that you don't wish to continue anymore in the matter, that you wish to withdraw it. alternatively, if your advocate is not responsive or helpful, you may yourself mention this in court that you as Petitioner wish to withdraw your case and don't wish to pursue it before court anymore.
