I have properties in different states. I have some disputes with my wife. So my question is can i make only one will to secure properties in different states or different states need different (wills ). And can i make will in favour of my brother's son?

Hi you can make one will dealing with all the movable and immovable property your cash etc funds and you can give it to anyone if you don’t make will after your demise all those go to your wife and children as per law since u don’t want that u can make a will

Yes. you can. A single will can be made for all teh properties in India. preferably, make a registered will. A will can be made in the favour of the brothers son. But pls be assure, if you are doing it for the sake of the dispute with wife. will be in force after death. Therefore, if you are anticipating a case against you, a gift deed is preferable or other options.
