Copy of Will to be distributed when Testator is still alive

08-Jul-2023 (In Wills / Trusts Law)
My mother is 85 years old and not well. She has written a will which is with me. My sister has issued a legal notice from her lawyer to me asking for the will. Am I bound by law to give her a copy at this stage or after passing of my mother ? My mother wanted her will to be known only after her death. I am named as Executor of the will.

if it is your mother's exclusive self acquired property then your sister cannot ask right in that. She can file a suit if it is your father's ancestral property or his self aquired property and if he has died intestate. There are other legal points are also included about her rights in the property please consult
