Yoni founded his own firm, the Law Office of Yonatan S. Levoritz (which later evolved and expanded into The Levoritz Law Group), soon after being admitted to the New York Bar on March 30, 2005. He quickly acquired a reputation for success in and out of the courtroom, and in 2008 was named Professional of the Year in Matrimonial Law by Strathmore’s Who’s Who. At the time, he was the youngest attorney to be awarded this honor.
Most of his legal experience has been in the family law and matrimonial field, where he experiences a high success rate. During the course of his career, Yoni has represented numerous celebrities and other individuals of high net worth, including Steven Green, one of the most eligible gay bachelors in New York State, and Patricia Duff, former wife of Revlon billionaire Ron Perelman. He is also a strong father’s rights advocate, having represented husbands and fathers in family law matters since law school, and seeks to protect their rights in a system that often appears to favor mothers in divorce and custody matters.Â
In addition to a strong matrimonial law practice, Yoni has opened five successful businesses and has extensive securities trading experience, having passed the Series 7 and Series 63, all of which have given him valuable insights into the needs and challenges that businesses and organizations face today.
Yoni is dually licensed to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia (suspended pending taking mandatory ethics course). Â
