Lisa earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. While there, she won the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law, and was honored as a William H. Leary Scholar for placing in the top 20% of her class. Lisa was Articles Editor for The Journal of Contemporary Law, and a Teacher’s Assistant in Legal Writing. She earned a BA in English at Amherst College, where she was Captain of the Varsity Women’s Lacrosse team. Post-grad, Lisa continued to play Club Lacrosse in Utah and then California, and she spent several years coaching: first for Park City (Utah) High School’s varsity girls’ lacrosse team, and more recently for the University of California at Santa Cruz women’s lacrosse team – helping to bring both teams to podium finishes in their league championships.
