Discrimation based on Marital Status

In Supreme Court Law
Any man or woman in India has the right to remain single, but is there any written agreement that doesn't allow for settlement such as a man or woman in an apartment? I have read lots of laws of equality, but is the above said a violation of any Fundamental rights that discriminate against people on the basis of their marital status?
