Recovery of payment for service used

08-Mar-2023 (In Recovery Law)
I had a pet boarding shop. One client kept her dog for 8 months. She paid for 3 months and I have waived the amount for one and half month. She had promised to pay the remaining payment. And has provided cheque and signed letter with regards to payment when she came to collect the pet once forced to come. She says she will pay. But keeps on saying she has no money. How to claim the remaining money from her

Hello,

If you have an agreement or any form wherein she has agreed to keep her pet with you and using your service it shall help you in long run. You should send a legal demand notice to claim and calling for the amount, but please tell what is the due amount based on which we can ascertain the jurisdiction and amount. Feel free to reach out for help in this regard and further assistance if you are from Mumbai.
