Procedure to recover the loan amount given to the friend.

I sent rs 9000/- to one of my friend who promised to return back in 3months time but has not done so, ....it's been a year following up with him .Have recieved 4000/- till now and the balance 5000/- is still left.... What should i do now ! For rs 5000/- , what can i do to recover ?Please help..
Please keep in touch with your friend and keep him reminding about his promise. Other than requesting him and keeping him in good humor, there is no other way to recover your money. If you intend to initiate legal action, the expenditure involved is more than what you have to receive, therefore try to get back your money by requesting your friend.
