Money recovery from friend which he is not responding to calls or mess

Hi, I gave 1lac rupees to my friend through bank transfer.. it's been 7months till now he is not returned the amount even after several telephonic conversation and msges.
What can be done at this point.
you can issue legal notice for demanding of amount which you have paid him with certain time bound, if he fail to pay that amount then you can file recovery suit against him for that you have to pay court fees
