Letter Recieved from LOK Adalat - Kochi

Dear Sir, i used to be in Dubai and i had a credit card outstanding with bank. Since i lost my job I had to find a job in African country for a much lesser salary. now the dubai bank representative has sent a lok adalat letter to attend the court in India kochi which i will not be able to attend since i am not in india. want to know the leagal implication for not attending the call
Appoint an attorney who may atleast represent you before the court however if you do not remain present or appoint an advocate remain present for you the case may be transferred again to the court in which the matter was previously pending and accordingly the matter will commence from the stage in the court
