How to recover the token amount from the owner of flat

I had deal with owner of flat to buy at 53.2 lakh and I have been given 51000 Rs token amount to him. one day later I known about society environment and property build up quality is not good ,So same day I call to owner to cancel that deal and refund my token amount. But he is not given.
You can certainly recover the amount by filing a case through a proper lawyer dealing in such cases. You may be or may not be having an agreement with the other party. You need to bring all the documents and receipt if any to the advocate concerned.
