Will a power of attorney be enough to buy a property

I want to buy a property in Hosur Tamil Nadu... The owner is not able to come to Hosur and will give me a power of attorney from Bangalore. Is that valid

The owner can give a valid power of attorney to a person of his choice and he can sign the sale deed on behalf of the owner . But since you are the buyer he can not give a power of attorney to you . The power holder can enter into a deal.
