What to do if family is not giving our share of property

Before 22 years, my mothers gold was given to my fathers sister to getting her married. At that time they had said that they(grand parents) will give 15 cent of land in the name of my mother. But till now they does not give that land and now they are terrifying us that if we want that place to us, again we want to pay another five lakh to them(as geevamsham) .this land was given to my fathers sister as a dhana adharam also. What can my family do to secure our land. My grand parents are supporting their daughter to secure the land and not my father.what can we do?
The ornaments were the absolute property of your mother. She has right to get it back as it is or its value at current market prices. However, it is impossible that the alleged promise to get land could be enforced.....
