What is the structure for the Paghdi system inheritance

22-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
I and my parents live with my grandmother. We are Hindu by religion. The house in which we stay is in the name of my grandmother but the house is in paghdi system. My grandmother has 5boys and 1girl as children....and all stay in different parts of the city.... except my dad who lives with my grandmother. Now my grandmother's health is too weak, so I wanted to know if my grandmother dies....what will happen to the inheritance of the house...will my dad get it....and if my grandmother wants to make a will in her presence...than what is the procedure in paghdi system.

Dear Client,
Under Pagdi system there is no concept of rights of legal heirs. You grandmother is tenant (not the owner). Post her death, the property will go to person who is residing with her., that to with permission of the original owner.
