hi Sir my mother married in 1981 she can claim his fathers property came from forefathers and my mother has 2 brothers all the property came from forefathers and my mother's father. Now she can send a notice to claim his share and how to stop selling those properties after we send a notice can you please explain about this query and the steps we need to take my grandmother is still alive and grand father died without writhing any villi.
Whether the father of your mother is alive or not? To whom you sent the notice? If the father alive issue notice to the father or her two brothers. If there is no response from their side your mother can file a Partition case against them. It is better to give full details in your question.
