Want to know who is the current owner of the property.

We stay in my grandparents property. And i think my dad's elder brother has captured the whole property in his name. My dad passed away 2 years back! How can i know currently who is the owner of the property?
This is my response to you:
1. If it is ancestral property then you also have claim on it;
2. If it is self-acquired property then your father, and in his absence you also have a claim on it;
3. So send a legal notice and ask for share;
4. If they do not respond then file a suit in the civil court;
5. Consult a local lawyer and take legal steps.
