Want to claim my share over my late maternal grandfather's property

My-maternal-grandfather-s-mother-bought-a-land-on-1953-and-died-on-1988-My-maternal-grandfather-inherited-it-and-died-on-1996-with-out-writing-any-will-leaving-behind-a-widow-two-married-daughters-and-two-sons-My mother died on 2011. Can i claim for a share in the abovesaid property?
Yes there is provisions give under indian succession act to claim rights on the property in question on an ancestrol property so that all the blood related members of the member of the property without any will the property will be distributed under the indian succession act
