Want clarification on filing any case for property share in GOA

Just wanted to know one rule.... If my mom's dad had property in Goa and my mom and her sibblings need to appoint advocate to file case regarding the same then do signature of the spouses' are also mandatory? As per Goa state rule..
It totally depends on who are made a party to the matter and how you have been made a party to the suit.if you are made a plaintiff then your signature may be required. You may also give power of attorney. It wholly depends if you are made a party to the suit
