Unregistered land seller threatening that he will not give us the land
03-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
My father bought a land in 2002, one agreement paper made which is on 20 rupeess stamp paper without consulting any court/law. There were two persons who signed in the agreement as witness. Father constructed a house in the plot. We are happily living here since than more than 14 years by now. my father is now getting aged. We had a fight with this seller who has his house adjacent to ours. During fight he threatened us that he will not give us the land. And he also keeps on saying here and there that he will not give us the land. We have a big house with 10 of us living here for 14 years.
From whom the land was purchased whether the seller is the original pattadar or not? If the seller is the original pattadar then not to worry about it. If you are possessing or occupying the land by constructing dwelling houses it's very good not to vacate the land in near future. And if the seller is a recorded pattadar then file a title suit as per the specific performance of the contract. And the judgement will be in favour of you.
