transfer of share in co ownership

I and my mother own flat in housing society under joint ownership basis. My mother has done nomination in my name and a registered will for transfer of her share in my name. My mother has done registered will wherein it is mentioned her share of property to be transferred in my name and rest of all belongings i.e. gold and ornaments to be given to my elder brother, now My mother is no more, how do i proceed further for transfer of her share in my name.

If u are a HINDU , than in this case HINDU SUCCESSION ACT will apply, then in this case if your mother has executed an WILL, then u have to go for PROBATE of that WILL. Under HINDU SUCCESSION ACT the WILL has to compulsorily PROBATED.

If u are a CRISTIAN, the WILL NEED NOT TO BE COMPULSORILY PROBATED , BUT IT CHALLLANGED IT HAS TO BE PROBATED

IF u are a MUSLIM, then WILL effect is only 1/3rd and balance goes as per the Muslim Personal law.
