Transfer of property from Grand father's name to his sons

30-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi, My father has two elder sisters, three younger brothers and one younger sister. My father and his brothers bought a property in my grand father's name. Both the elder sisters had got married when the property was bought. Now my grand father and grand mother are not alive. One of my father's elder sister (and her husband) are also nomore and they didnt have any kids. We would like to get the property transferred to my father and his brothers. Do we need to give any share to the elder sister? The property was bought in 1983 and my grandfather passed away in 1987.

As your grandfather died without leaving a Will, after his death his estate shall devolve on all his legal heirs equally by operation of law. Your father's sisters may execute and register a deed of relinquishment in favour of their brothers forgoing their shares.
