to sale the land which is having different name in deed and patta

18-May-2023 (In Property Law)
We have a land in our village in Tamilnadu, which has the deed document in our Grandmother's name and the patta is our Father's name. Is it enough to sell the land with our brothers and sisters signature?

Yes, it is enough to sell the property with the consent of all the legal heirs of your grandmother. Patta may be changed to the person who is in possession as of now. There is no need to change the name in the deed. Legal heirs are entitled to dispose of the property after the demise of your grandmother, unless there is a Will to the contrary.
