Subject: Tenant rights on owner property after staying in property
10-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
Hi Sir,
There are tenants in my property of for 8 years. Our house is registered and all government papers are in correct manner.
Now this tenant will get any rights on claiming my property with any specified time given for his stay.
Electricity / Water /Property bills all are paid by me only.
Please help.
As you are the absolute owner no tenant can claim property what ever the period the property is leased out either oral or on written lease agreement, you can evict your tenant as per law by following due process of law with a specific reasons like renovation, Bonafide requirement.
