Status of inherited property if person dies before transfer in his nam

If a Hindu Father has bequeathed his self acquired property by way of Will in favour of his Son but son dies before transferring the said property in his name. what is the status of such property
Dear Querist,
Whether the will of father is certified from court?
In that case legal heirs of son will be entitled to such property & if the son had made a will, then upon certification if such will, property will be disposed off accordingly.
