Selling the property of my dad who is dead

My father passed away 10 years ago. Now me my mother and sister wants to sell my fathers plot. We already have family members certificate is it necessary to have legal heir certificate to sell the plot? If necessary how much time it takes?how much expenditure?
If the buyers want legal hier certificate you can file for it in the court. It will take 1 week to 10 days time. You will have to pay the court fee based on the plot valuation. You can pay some percentage on the valuation. You have submit your father's death certificate along with your family members adhar cards in the court. For further queries you can contact me.
