Selling residential plot through two sale deeds

Hi, I have sold my residential plot in the sanctioned layout of a bungalow society in two equal halves to two different buyers through two different sale deeds without subdivision of the said plot. Is this illegal? Is there any way to legalize it?
u need to make a subdivision of the land by making application to city survey office. the surveyor will do the required demarcation of the land. in case u have already sold the land than both the new purchaser will have to do that. It's not illegal to sell non demarcated plot.
