My father had purchased an immovable property (house) in mumbai, in 2000. He died a few years back without any will, leaving behind my mother, three married sisters and me. Now,my mother wants to sell off this property without transferring property to anyone. In this situation, what options are available to us so that we sell this property. is it possible to sell without transferring to her name

In your case, first of all, you file an heirship suit in your local jurisdiction court. then the court decides the legal hires, they you can sell this property. otherwise you and your sibling surrendered you legal right in favour of your mother.
