Rights of a joint member in coop housing society for getting the house
29-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
i am a joint member in a coop housing society apartment. My brother is a nominee. The main member i.e my father has expired. The apt is willed to me in my father's will. Who gets the apartment?
It entirely depends on who is the owner of the apartment. If your father is the sole owner of the property in that case you will get the property or if he has a share in the property you only get that share. However for exact answer one will need to look into the will and the apartment documents with respect to title.
