Right of siblings in transferred property belonging to mother

20-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
Dear Sir/ Madam, My mother who expired recently willingly transferred her Chawl room in my name way back in 1990. I have proper rent receipt in my name. Since her death now my elder brother is suddenly started pestering me to sell the said room and give part of the money to him . Do he or any of my other siblings has the right to ask for money coming out of the above property or have a claim over that room?. Thanks

Dear Client,
Your room comes under Pagdi system, where legal heirs dont have any right. If rent reciept is on your name, nobody can remove u out of the said house.

Note-you are lawful tenant not the owner. Only after redevelopment you will become owner. So relax.
