MY GRAND FATHER HAS NAMED MY FATHER AS THE HEIR OF OUR ANCESTROL PROPERTY.MY FATHER SAYS HE HAS THE SOLE RIGHT AS ALL THE PROPERTY DOCCUMENTS ARE ON HIS NAME EVEN THOUGH IT IS ANCESTROL PROPERTY COMING FROM MANY GENERATIONS.IS IT TRUE ?.AS HIS CHILDREN DO WE HAVE RIGHT ON THAT PROPERTY ?IF SO HOW DO WE CLAIM FOR THAT?

ancestral property all the heirs have equal rights. your father cannot claim as if he is the sole owner. you can file partition suit before jurisdictional court. though the documents bears his name, if it is ancestral property, he is not owner having full rights
