The plaintiff who was the tenant has filed a false lawsuit against me. As he knew that he cannot win

12-Aug-2023 (In Property Law)
The plaintiff who was the tenant has filed a false lawsuit against me. As he knew that he cannot win the case, he is demanding for settlement. Also he quotes that if I don't agree, he will continue the case which is now in small civil court to High court and lock me to take any decision. What should I do??

You don't have to worry. Dont go for setting for throwaway price. You file a caveat petition before High Court so that he doesn't take stay in your absence. To protect your interest you must file FDP for measne profit to avoid any loss during proceedings of court.
