Regarding the registered and unregistered documents
03-Sep-2023 (In Property Law)
I have a piece of land which i have purchased by the ikrarnama out of which half i have got registered and half i will get registered now. It is written in registry that the seller will do registry in my favor as per mine feasibility. I had also gifted some portion to my brother by gift deed which is unregistered now brother is saying i am not having right as the land is not registered after taking possession. So can brother put up any question like this?
Yes your brother can research type of argument because transaction of a property more than the value of rupees 100 is a compulsorily registrable document and without a registered document no title interest can be attributed to the person who has been given therefore you should go for registration of the document so that a better and effective title can be transferred to the person accept accepting the gift
